People in the south don’t seem to realise how near it is and with the success of Game of Thrones, thousands of fans are travelling to Northern Ireland from the US and as far away as Japan.  You can visit over 20 Game Of Thrones film locations in Northern Ireland now.

Exploring Northern Ireland, travel journalist Ed Finn is much closer to home than usual in his latest travel show. This brand new TV3 special takes viewers on a spectacular journey from the historic and lively walled city of Derry to hiking the majestic mountains of Mourne in Co. Down. Ed visits Royal Portrush Golf club, meets the master distiller at Bushmills Distillery, and climbs the 60 million year old Giant’s Causeway.
